George Yoda came to Purrfect Pals when he started to develop some undesirable litter box habits. He was declawed and, like most cats who have no claws, finds the litter box to be painful on his now sensitive feet. We also noticed he was showing some distress while urinating even outside the box. It was quickly discovered that George Yoda has a tendency to develop urinary crystals causing urination to be painful. He is now on a diet that helps prevent the formation of the crystals, though he still does not understand the appeal of the litter box. George Yoda loves people! He is the definition of a cuddler and gives hugs to everyone he meets. He loves to be held, petted, brushed and played with. He has never met a stranger or person he did not like, as long as they are willing to give him undivided attention. George Yoda has a playful streak, but his favorite pastime is lounging about testing new beds! He enjoys going out to the enclosed sanctuary patio to lay in the sun, chase bugs, and watch the wildlife in the backyard. We hope George Yoda will find a family who is understanding of his needs and willing to try several different litter box techniques someday, but until then, he will always have a home here at Purrfect Pals. While this sweet boy is waiting for a new family, would you like to become his monthly sponsor?
