“Luna was from a litter of strays that went to the Monroe prison kitten program. After a year she was up for adoption, but the most shy of her litter. The staff was worried she might not get adopted because of how scared she was. But we took a chance on her anyway. She spent the first month or so in a bathroom but slowly ventured out around the house, especially at night! 2.5 years later and she does not want to leave our sides, love cuddles, and always wants pets while she eats. We could not love her more. She is curious and playful, still scared of strangers but slowly getting more and more brave!”
