Dixie & Pirate

  • Adopted by: Kate Sundquist

Purrfect Ending Story:

When I met Dixie it was love at first sight. I had been thinking about getting a cat for awhile but hadn’t been looking very seriously. I always loved visiting Petsmart and seeing the kitties and this particular day I walked in and they were having an adoption event. Dixie immediately caught my eye, she was a tiny tuxedo cat and she was climbing and running around the very top of the cat structure.  I discovered she was part of an abandoned litter, and the only female. When I went to pick her up she immediately cuddled up in my arms and the rest was history.  When I adopted Pirate, I was not initially looking for a kitten. Dixie had always lived with other cats and she was alone in my current living situation. I was intending to find her an older gentleman. When I saw Pirate’s story on the Purrfect Pals website, I felt instantly drawn to him and went to meet him the next day. Pirate had been found alone in Everett at just 4 weeks old.  I instantly fell in love with his personality and I was impressed with how calm and confidant he seemed in the cat room with the other cats and children petting him and people all around. I knew he was my guy and filled out the adoption paperwork that day.

A Huge thanks to the Purrfect Pals foster mom’s that take such good care of these kittens and make it possible for them to have healthy and happy lives!
