Hero

Purrfect Ending Story:

I adopted Hero as kitten when was around 4-5 months old at the Tukwila Petsmart. He was the last of his litter and the only tiny black kitten with a kinky tail.  He was transferred from a kill shelter to Purrfect Pals with his mom and litter mates just in time, he and his litter mates plus mom were almost put down in the shelter and Purrfect Pals stepped up and took them in August 2007. Well it seems no one wanted the black kitten with the kinky tail, because he sat there waiting for his new forever home just before Christmas. I had gone in to pick up some things at Petsmart for my other cat and there he was, little Hero causing all the adult cats greif. I have a soft spot for black cats, and I saw him and thought I have room in my home and heart for this little guy. I kept his name, a volunteer named him that & I’m still not sure where it came from. He certainly has taught me patience and to seek cat behavior guidance from Jackson Galaxy. He has a lot of energy, really gentle, talkative, funny, and loves to cuddle. He makes everyone say that “I didn’t like any cat until I met Hero”. Oh and the energy I was talking about? He still has it and plays like a kitten all the time and he will be 11 years old next month! Thank you for this small furry ball of energy and joy I am privileged to have in my life every day. Lots of purrs, Kristin & Hero Don’t you just love happy endings?
