“I was looking for a gray & white tuxedo female cat, not a kitten. I saw she had weight problems, so I initially passed her over. But after seeing her face over the next 2 weeks, I picked her. Lol, her bed had been placed on top of the food cabinet because that’s where she slept! She couldn’t stop purring when we got home, and she roamed around my small 1-bedroom apartment. She loves being petted, never gets enough. It took a year before she finally slept between my legs while sitting in my recliner with the leg rest up. Then one day she claimed that spot. I was so happy! Yes, she has weight issues, but I’m so glad that didn’t stop me from adopting her. She’s perfect, always uses a scratching post and a litter box. I am very lucky to have her. Please consider adopting older cats. They are already litter box trained and using a scratching post.”
