Tom

Purrfect Ending Story:

Formerly known as Tumor Tom, this cheeky boy has lived his share of nine lives. After being trapped and neutered along with his colony of feral cats, he was deemed unfit to return outdoors. The vets determined that at some point Tom had likely been hit by a car causing his jaw to break and heal crooked. With the help of a few amazing advocates, Tom charmed himself into Purrfect Pals which went above and beyond by pulling his impacted teeth and getting him ready for adoption. After some persuasion from my former coworkers at WeSNiP, my boyfriend, Justin, and I met Tom at the shelter. It didn’t even take a minute for Tom to accept us as his humans; he sat on my lap and shooed off any cats that would come near me, just in case we dare consider taking home someone else. Tom quickly settled in and now spends his days cuddled up telling us stories about his trailer park days.

We owe a huge thank you to everyone who played a part in Tom’s journey, especially Purrfect Pals & WeSNiP. We love Tom and the amazing organizations that led him to our home. Justin and I frequently say to each other that Tom really is our Purrfect Pal. He’s the sweetest boy who sleeps on our pillows in the morning and greets us at the door with his raspy meow. Tom has even learned the sound of our cars driving into the driveway! Tom sure is one lucky cat, and we’re lucky to be his humans.
