When Annabelle first came to Purrfect Pals, she was very reactive and afraid. Our Outreach manager has been working with her daily to help build trust through training commands. Annabelle is very food motivated, by using Churus she has learned to jump up and down from cat towers, to come on command, kiss your finger, and to sit pretty. After each training session, she gets her most valued crunchy treats for a job well done. Annabelle is looking for a very calm, quiet, experienced cat savvy adult family that will help create a strong bond and trust with her, by continuing her training. She will thrive being the only pet in her new home. Annabelle has hyperthyroidism which we treat with Methimazole which is a topical gel applied to her ear. She’s been doing great with that.
