Purrfect Ending Story:
“Hello! My name is Izzy Zanelli, and I recently had the absolute joy of adopting (formerly) Super Nova—now known as Lilly Anne Zanelli.
From the moment I met Lilly, she came right up to me. I was with a friend and some of the amazing volunteers, and Lilly immediately clung to me. She was the sweetest, most playful little kitty—giving me gentle love bites and head boops from the very start. It was clear: she had chosen me, and she was ready to come home. Since bringing her home, Lilly has been an absolute delight. She’s incredibly vocal and always has a lot to say! It’s not uncommon to find me having full conversations with her—three minutes straight of meowing back and forth. She’s obsessed with feather toys, and within just a few hours of arriving, she had already hunted down and “defeathered” her entire new collection.
We also have two small dogs in the household. After a slow, thoughtful introduction process, Lilly and the dogs are now getting along well! In fact, we discovered that one of the dogs really enjoys cat toys, so he got his own special stash too. Lilly has transitioned to an all-wet food diet, which has been great for her hydration and has made her fur extra soft and silky. I believe she may have experienced food insecurity in the past, possibly from being outdoors, but I’m happy to share that she’s improving. Keeping her on a predictable routine has helped reduce her anxiety and given her a sense of safety and stability.
In addition to being a beloved pet, Lilly is also my Emotional Support Animal. She’s currently being trained to help with mental health challenges like anxiety and PTSD, and she’s already proving to be incredibly intuitive—coming to lay beside me exactly when I need comfort the most. I feel so blessed to have Lilly as my daughter. Thank you, Purrfect Pals, for yet another successful adoption. I’ve been an adopter with you since 2010, and every experience has left me feeling supported and cared for. A special shoutout to Megan—you’ve been so helpful and an absolute joy to talk to about all things feline!”
