Rascal

Purrfect Ending Story:

My name is Rascal and I was transferred to Purrfect Pals in 2015 from a local public shelter after being found as a unneutered stray in Marysville. When I came to Purrfect Pals, I had coccidia and was placed in foster care with the foster coordinator initially and then moved to another foster home. When I was healthy and ready for adoption, I was sent to the Woodinville Petsmart to find my forever home but I stopped eating because I really hated being caged! I was sent back to my foster home and then Purrfect Pals posted stories and featured me on Facebook and Instagram. I had a meet and greet with one family but as soon as we met, everyone knew they were not the people for me! They wanted cuddly and I simply don’t do cuddly. I am feisty, extremely mischievous and my name is a true reflection of my character. My forever mom and dad were friends with my foster mom and saw all my cute pictures and my story on Facebook. When my dad heard that nobody wanted me, he said I was meant to be with them and they came and took me home on April 25, 2015! (Somehow, my foster mom neglected to tell them that my nickname is Rascal Wild.) I am extremely energetic and I love to ambush and bite people, my folks included. They tell me I’m the type of cat that probably would have been returned to the shelter multiple times, just for being myself. I got really lucky because my family accepts and loves me just the way I am. Even though I’m 5 years old now, I’m every bit as active and wild as when I was a kitten. When I am not bouncing off the walls, I play a game where I expose my belly, luring people in to pet my enticing soft belly but it’s a TRAP! Fortunately, I’m extremely handsome, have a sweet side that offsets my wild side, a big gigantic purr and I sleep on my mom’s feet every night. Call it luck, destiny, a fortunate stroke of serendipity, or fate, I have my forever home with folks who love me and have promised to keep me forever, which makes me one happy boy!
