Rodger is a stunning and lovable boy. He was rescued by a Good Samaritan from her neighborhood after being misdiagnosed with FIV, which led to her surrendering him. In reality, he does not have FIV, but he does suffer from severe kidney disease. It’s believed that his time on the streets exposed him to toxins that damaged his kidneys. Rodger will need an adopter who is willing to administer fluids and follow his veterinary care plan. He will likely require prescription food for the rest of his life. Our clinic is happy to discuss all of our findings and care recommendations with his new family. Despite these challenges, Rodger is an absolute sweetheart. He’s playful, affectionate, and full of love. He doesn’t quite understand why the older cats in his room aren’t interested in playing with him. When you visit Purrfect Pals in the morning, look up to the second floor — you’ll often find Rodger gazing out the window, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the view. While this sweet boy patiently waits for his furrever home, would you consider becoming his sponsor and supporting his journey?
